Have you ever thought about a word like, rice. You just thought about it and said it over and over again until you are like ‘This is a very weird word. Who in the world named these things?’ I have. It’s kind of fun to do that once in a while.

Have you ever thought about the word, history? It is a very explanatory word. It is literally saying His story. If you understand what I mean. His=God’s, so it’s God’s story. Pretty cool, eh?

I just love History! It is so interesting and amazing and, if you have ever look deep enough, the world has just kept making the same mistakes as our ancestors. If more people would just look and learn from history, we might actually do something in this world.

Take for example, the Israelites in the Bible. They were God’s chosen people but what did they do? They complained, whined and even made an idol because “As for this fellow Moses who brought us up out of Egypt, we don’t know what has happened to him”, even thought Moses was right up the mountain, but the people didn’t trust. (Exodus 32:1-6, the whole chapter tells the whole story.)

Even after this episode, we see in the later years of the Israelites, they complained and made other gods and the Lord sent them into exile. This happened about 3 or 4 times! Why can’t we just learn from History?

Back to the present, I really love History and my favorite part is American History. I was just taking a course on it and I really love it. I love all the Revolutionary War heroes, the civil war and things leading up to it, the cowboys, everything. What is your favorite part of history, world or American? Please tell me. I love reading all your comments! Have a great day you history buffs!
